What is a class action?
Every year, companies pay out millions of dollars to consumers in legal settlements for issues like false advertising, data breaches, and other legal violations. This money is often available to claim, but it can be hard to find and time-consuming to file.
That’s why we built Claim — to help you discover class action settlements and make filing them faster and easier.
What is Claim?
Claim is a mobile app that helps you save time discovering and filing class action claims. Our mission is to make access to class action settlements simple and stress-free.
We are not a law firm and are not affiliated with any class action administrator, litigant, court, or settlement party. You can use Claim to assist with filing, or you can always file directly with the class action administrator if you prefer.
How do I know if I'm eligible for a claim?
Our goal is to make it easier for consumers to participate in class actions. Many claims on Claim are marked “no proof required,” meaning you won’t need to upload receipts or documents to qualify.
However, each settlement has its own requirements. All claims are submitted under penalty of perjury, so it's important that you read the eligibility rules carefully before filing.
If you proceed, Claim will help you complete the required forms — and if automated filing is supported for that settlement, we'll handle submission to the administrator for you. Otherwise, we’ll guide you through submitting it yourself. Whether or not you receive funds (and how much) is ultimately decided by the settlement administrator.
